Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, with Panamanian roots, Brian Brown discovered his passion for cooking and baking at a young age. He eventually turned that passion into a profession, earning his degree in Culinary Arts from The Art Institute of Charlotte in 2013.
His culinary career has since taken him through restaurants, retail food service, catering, stadiums, arenas, and other high-volume environments. Along the way, Brian has worked behind the scenes at some of Charlotte’s major sports and entertainment venues, including Bank of America Stadium, Spectrum Arena, and BB&T Ballpark. Those experiences helped shape a culinary style built around versatility, consistency, creativity, and the ability to perform under pressure.
But food has never been Brian’s only creative language.
Creating music since 2012 as DJ B Breezy, Brian approaches production with the same curiosity he brings to cooking—experimenting with different sounds, influences, rhythms, and ideas until they become something distinctly his own. His musical journey has included Beatclub, where his production earned a third-place finish in Timbaland’s “Bounce Coming Up” contest.
Versatility is at the heart of everything he creates.
Whether developing a new dish, building a beat, or turning an idea into something tangible, Brian creates with intention, curiosity, and the desire to keep evolving.
Eventually, the connection became obvious: the kitchen and the studio were never separate worlds.
That idea became Stovetop Symphony LLC — “Where Flavor Meets Sound.”
Stovetop Symphony brings Chef B Breezy and DJ B Breezy under one brand, combining culinary creativity and music with catering, original releases, merchandise, and the long-term vision of a food-truck experience where flavor, sound, and culture come together.
Beyond the kitchen and studio, Brian has also stepped onto the court in several celebrity basketball games—another chapter in a journey influenced by food, music, sports, creativity, and culture.
This is more than food. More than music.
